This Case Study was developed for Truescape Ltd to
help promote their visual reality product.
Truescape is a professional services company specialising
in visual communication using 3D simulations and is currently a
market leader in New Zealand. Truescape’s simulations are
used for; design and development, public consultation, resource
consent or planning approvals and for marketing and promotional
purposes.
Their product is highly sophisticated and technical
and they needed someone who could quickly understand and communicate
their key messages. After an initial meeting and information gathering
I was able to produce an overview plan and then work up the first
draft.

The following are samples of content Beckwith Communications
has produced for the web. To develop this content, interviewing
and on-line research was carried out. My marketing perspective enables
me to focus on key messages and write convincing copy that is accurately
targeted.
Beckwith Communications work with clients to determine
their online strategy, plan their Information Architecture and write
good, effective content. Keeping sites updated is an essential service
and contributes greatly to sites continued success with search engine
rankings.
I devised the Information Architecture and wrote the copy
in collaboration with the client, Dr Derek Roger. A blog was
added to help keep the site current and a regular review is
carried out to maintain interest and relevance. The site features
a video which helps bring Derek closer to his audience.

needed their own on-line presence to appeal directly to the
local market. Working with the New Zealand manager and their
in-house IT staff resulted in this appealing, well ranked
site.
